Air pollution kills 7 million people a year. Most of the victims are from developing countries. Large cities in developing countries lack green areas so that air pollution gets worse and threatens people's health. It is therefore paramount to increase green areas in cities in very cheap, fast, ecofriendly ways. That's why “Tetraforest” was designed. Tetraforest increases the percentage of green areas in cities, by simply using recycled materials. All that needs to be done is making a wall structure by connecting reused PET bottles with joints made from recycled plastic, and training vine plants on it.
