Before the project, the team has been thinking about a question-when the scene of our end users using mobile phones changes, whether the traditional mobile phone holder can meet their needs.
For example, I want to brush my phone in the comfort of my bed.
For example, I want to brush my phone on the recliner.
For example, I want Ge You to lie down and brush his cell phone and so on.
When the variable of use environment occurs, it is accompanied by more opportunities for innovative products, and the U2 pillow holder is born.
What we want to do is to expand the use environment of traditional mobile phone brackets and human-computer experience, so that users can use the mobile phone in the most comfortable posture.
The most important thing to create comfort: hugs. This daily habit is to create an emotional bond that pulls in the intimacy of products and people. Therefore, when we define innovative products as the first step, to subvert, we must change the usage habits of traditional brackets so that users can hold and use brackets.
How can hold the use?
The first point: to create a comfortable association, the most likely to produce similar associations in general cognition is the soft items: sponge, latex, silk floss, inflatable, foam particles and so on. In the end, we chose foam particles with better shape performance and lighter weight as fillers.
The second point: stability can be adjusted freely. The more complex the usage scenario is, the more important the direction and posture of the bracket need to be adjusted. The conformal particles at the bottom of the universal ball double-joint arm can basically meet most complex usage scenarios.
The third point: washable. Sofas, beds, etc. are relatively clean places. The brackets are used all the year round. After being soiled, they are disassembled and washed by the machine. They are clean and sanitary.
At this point, the user journey diagram of the entire product is outlined, and a new product form is born.
We always believe that any explosive strategy or innovation strategy cannot be separated from user-centered design thinking.
