The starting point of a conceptual design made in two nights is to break through the traditional appearance of the range hood.
I prefer a little concept and do it for fun, so I didn't consider factors such as cost (this modeling process may require die casting, and traditional bending and stamping cannot be achieved)
Design concept:
1 mode of operation: the traditional oil cup adopts the pull-out type, which is easy to jam when disassembling and is not easy to extract. So I designed the form of pressing and popping. It is more convenient in the process of taking. The design of descending suction allows the oil fume to be inhaled from around in a ring, and all-round oil fume absorption is more powerful. The lifting is also divided into two gears, the first gear working mode and the second gear cleaning mode.
2 product appearance: inspired by PH50 lamps and lanterns, it adopts flexible lines to make the whole range hood look more home. I think housekeeping is also a direction that can be expanded (however, sheet metal process is relatively difficult to realize and die casting process may be required). The oil fume net and oil cup adopt a hidden design, and the product looks more integrated. Since the built-in oil cup is inconvenient to observe the oil volume, it is expected that the oil level sensor is built into the machine. The oil level is displayed directly on the operation panel.
3 product positioning: the style of the product and the market to open the gap, the main technology style, home style. The process is difficult and the finished product is on the high side, so the domestic high-end market is preset.
