Briefly introduce the background of this design.


This is an 18-year project. I am responsible for designing the appearance of a swimming pool equipment.
Laminar flow thrusters. I believe most people are unfamiliar with this product both in name and related information. But if you mention the "boundless swimming pool", there should be many non-industry insiders who have heard and understood it.

The boundless swimming pool, one is that the water surface is almost parallel to the height of the swimming pool, and it is not easy to see the edge of the swimming pool. Coupled with the vast surrounding environment and other conditions, a swimming pool with an endless sense of missight has been created. In the water environment equipment industry, there is also a kind of equipment called infinity swimming pool, the international common name is "Infinity swimming pool" (or Boundlees Pool/Endless Pool, etc.). The latter is called "infinity pool unit" below.
The general size of the traditional infinity swimming pool unit is a swimming pool with a length of 6 meters and a width of about 3 meters. Some products also have SPA equipment.

In addition to the form of matching with the infinity swimming pool, it is the type of laminar flow thruster that can be independently matched with any swimming pool form. In the early days, the appearance of the laminar flow thruster was relatively simple, and it needed to be dug and buried in the swimming pool, which was more troublesome.
In the current international market, several leading companies in the water environment equipment industry in the West have led the research and development of wall-mounted laminar flow thrusters. It has a lighter volume and a more convenient installation method, and only needs to be fixed on the edge of the swimming pool.
Its main advantages are its small footprint and more convenient and lower cost than the traditional form of starting soil to build a swimming pool, and its main function is the laminar flow thruster equipment for the swimming pool.
Its principle is also relatively simple: suck the water in the pool into the machine to do work and then push it out, while swimmers can swim forward continuously in the narrow pool space by the current. Due to the convenience and characteristics of the function, some people call the device "swimming trainer" or "countercurrent propeller".

This product is the first wall-mounted laminar flow thruster equipment independently developed, designed and produced by an enterprise in China.

When the equipment is working, almost 3/4 of the fuselage are in water, and the main material is acrylic, which is suitable for the environment.
After the mold is completed, load it into the machine, glue it, and finally cover it with a gel coat and paint it.

The water tank is processed with sheet metal, which plays a protective and filtering role. The protective compartment connected to it is because the power of the motor is strong, and cavitation may occur during the water absorption process, which has potential safety hazards. Therefore, a 20cm length flange is added between the water tank and the body as a protective layer.
