After work, I often pay attention to some items in life and the behavior of users, and then find points that can be improved and innovated.
This soup pot was cooked by myself for 14 years. I felt that the current pot was not easy to use, and then I thought about how to improve it and redesign it. At that time, it was just the second year of work, and the work was not too busy, so I completed the design in my spare time and applied for a utility model patent.
Later, I voted for some competitions. This design has won the Silver Award in the 2014 China Hardware Industry Design Competition, the 2016 Korean K-DESIGN International Design Award, and the 2017 China Design Red Star Original Award.
The habit of finding and solving problems in my life after work has always brought me many unexpected surprises. The red dot and IF conceptual design awards I have won in recent years all come from this habit. Although these conceptual designs may be just an idea, which is difficult to commercialize and mass produce, they are not important. These habits can maintain your passion for design and not be solidified by design thinking at work. This is value.

Very creative, problem solving
Can I buy this pot?
Basically the same idea as this one
The pain of exhausting and placing the lid was solved in Liu Zongli's design decades ago.
This is obviously not the same as the design idea of a pot by Liu Zongli? Isn't this kind of crash design plagiarism?
Good design lies in solving problems. There must be many ways. The point is that many people cannot find these hidden problems. Give praise to the author
Can't quadrangle?
If you have to rotate the lid to leave holes, there is no need to make hexagonal shapes, which are difficult to produce. The original circle can be slightly improved.
I have seen similar designs in my love invention in Central Ten.
When rotating and exhausting, the distilled water on the cover tends to drop from the cover to the stove.
Creativity is fine, but it doesn't feel beautiful.
Easy to break, and uneven wall thickness
Great
Downstairs is right. The idea is very good and deserves encouragement... But it does not meet the production rules and requirements.... To quote Jonathan, Apple's chief designer, if you want to make an unprecedented brand new product, you have to think that it has not yet appeared for a reason. Not because no one does it, but there may be 55 reasons why it cannot do it. You need to be more focused.
That's a great idea.
