In 2024, CEM Huashengchang and KIWI jointly designed and developed a E-DX04 modular immune/molecular/biochemical automatic detector for medical testing scenarios in the post-epidemic era. E-DX04 as a point-of-care testing POCT instrument platform compatible with immunoassay, nucleic acid molecule amplification assay and biochemical assay. Microfluidic technology, semiconductor technology and electrochemical detection technology are used to achieve quantitative and qualitative detection of various pathogens and biomarkers by matching the corresponding kits.
In the product design process, in order to enable the E-DX04 to cover more medical testing scenarios and different testing sample size requirements, we split the E-DX04 into two modules: the testing host and the testing expansion dock. A modular, expandable way to connect one host to multiple docking stations and achieve up to 96 throughput support.
The E-DX04 is designed in a minimalist style as a whole, and the host is effectively divided into three functional areas: sample detection bin, main body display screen and IO interface heat dissipation through the interspersed combination of the front, middle and rear three sections. The visual effect is clear and clear, and the operation logic conforms to the user's intuition. At the same time, it also makes the E-DX04 present a more unique and iconic design voice.
