The whole project is divided into two areas: cocktail research and development studio Creddie Workshop and bar The Tasting Room. Creddie Workshop is located at the front door of the venue and its goal is to test and develop the possibility of creating cocktails of various recipes. Warm yellow lighting and cozy seating places encourage people to step inside and explore the mysteries of cocktail-making and become voluntary tasters of new drink recipes. In addition, Creddie Workshop provides technical advice, beverage menu development and staff training for other bars or individuals within the city. The Tasting Room bar is designed to be hidden at the back of the studio and is accessible via a black aisle and cabin door. The simple design with bamboo, stone and wood flooring as raw materials emphasizes and echoes the spiritual pursuit of using high-quality organic ingredients in cocktail making, which also helps to enrich the inner spiritual experience of customers in this space and improve tasting satisfaction. The warm light setting and solid wood texture blend in perfectly.
As a local art form in Chengdu, bamboo weaving is carefully applied to the decoration of chair backs, wall decorations and light boxes. The natural spatial transition between the public bar area and the private space is achieved through curved walls, which create a semi-open room in an inclined posture, ensuring a certain degree of privacy in the venue. The well-considered seating setup allows guests to have enough space between each table and chair to drink and chat. Some non-fixed tables and chairs can extend the open space of the venue in certain situations and carry out social activities such as dancing.
