Twinkly is an innovative smart lighting brand in Italy. Their core technology is to realize LED rapid positioning through Computer Vision Twinkly smart phone APP, and to use the generated LED positioning to project different special lighting effects. As a long-term partner of Twinkly, we were invited to design a series of lighting products to enhance their festival lighting solutions. The core project of this collaboration is Tree Topper, a tree-top smart lighting that symbolizes refinement and innovation. Our task is to realize their vision of brand innovation and create a product that can not only be used as a festival decoration, but also embody the spirit of Twinkly intelligence and connected experience.

OUR ROLE
With Smart, Iconic Design Design an intelligent festival lighting/Redefining Holiday Centerpieces that subverts the traditional, intelligent and symbolic significance.

As Twinkly design partner, we are committed to creating an innovative interactive experience of festival lighting products, while reflecting the Twinkly's technological innovation and brand value. Tree Topper has become the core item of the project. This design will subvert people's cognition of Christmas lighting, and its functionality and interactivity will become a new indicator of festival lighting.

As Twinkly's design partner, we set out to create a product that redefines the holiday experience while embodying their values of innovation and quality. The Tree Topper became the anchor for this project, a design that unites functionality, interactivity, and a sense of festive wonder.

OUR APPROACH

Tree Topper's design requires a precise understanding of the Twinkly product ecosystem. Twinkly products must be integrated with the Twinkly application control system, while maintaining a streamlined form to enhance the visual appeal of the festival decoration. We work closely with Twinkly teams to ensure that every detail meets the technical and aesthetic benchmarks of their brands.

The design of the Tree Topper required precision and a deep understanding of Twinkly's ecosystem. It had to integrate with their app-controlled system while maintaining a streamlined form that enhances the visual appeal of holiday décor. Our approach involved close collaboration with Twinkly's team, ensuring each detail aligned with their brand's technical and aesthetic benchmarks.

From early concept sketches to final production, our goal is to find a balance between advanced features and timeless design, creating products that differentiate from traditional products and resonate with users. To enhance the brightness and vibrant colors, we used a unique combination of matte and clear plastic finishes. This thoughtful surface treatment not only enhances the illumination of Tree Topper, but also brings the dynamic interaction of light and color to create an unforgettable visual experience.
