Design time: 1984
Have you seen a chair over 2000?
When I first started working, a colleague liked Mark Newson very much. Who is he? He is highly respected by many people. Today, I would like to introduce this overseas industrial design master!
Marc Newson, born in 1963, is one of the most influential contemporary product designers. It is called "the man who makes curves for the world" by Time magazine ". There is an industrial design master who almost pursues paranoid pursuit of beauty. His designs range from flashlights, recliners, Danish bicycles, to concept cars, private jet planes, Nike concept shoes, etc. Mark Newson advocates "soft minimalism", introducing warm and natural elements into his design, reducing the cold and hard feeling brought by high-tech industry.
In 1982, Mark was admitted to the Sydney Academy of Art to study jewelry design and sculpture. When he was a student, he became crazy about chairs, and since then he has fallen into the world of industrial design. Before graduating in 1984, he exhibited his work in an exhibition held in Australia: Newsom transformed the 18th-century carriage seat and introduced the amazing Lockheed (Lockheed) lounge chair with the concept of "creating a flowing metal form". Newsom became famous in one fell swoop. After that, he started his design career in Tokyo, Japan, Paris, France, London, Switzerland and other countries.
Today, Mark Newsom is the most prolific, span, and most influential designer in the world. Mark Newsom's name has become a new fashion symbol, and major design awards have awarded his works: Chicago Athaeneum Excellent Design Award, "ELLE Furniture" "Design Award", "Homes"
