The Trojan Horse is designed to create a new generation of optical scanners for Carl Zeiss of Germany, starting from the interpretation of Zeiss product semantics, to create medical products more suitable for the Asian market. The product won the German Red Dot Design Award and the Japanese GOOD DESIGN Design Award. The Trojan horse designers fully considered the ease of use when conceiving this system, and adopted a joystick mode that is easier for users to control to achieve intuitive operation and fast alignment. It is convenient for users to get started faster and shortens the learning cycle of users. We set the integrated button area on the top of the joystick, allowing users to quickly and easily operate with one hand to realize patient positioning and image acquisition. For the optimized design of the human-machine interface of the instrument, we follow the basic principles of simplicity and ease of use, and fit ergonomics; in terms of practicality, we simplify the technical requirements for ensuring the seamless transition from the optical lens to the display The design of the rotating arm; in order to extend the service life of the instrument, we adopt a modular design to create a flexible space for future product upgrades: integration of related accessories, according to the later product development process, new accessories can be added to the new functions. Minimalism is the modeling style we define for this optical scanner. The pure white body, simple and smooth lines, elegant and modern appearance all reflect the characteristics of minimalism.
