Country Korea Year 2017 Designer Hayoung Lee In developing nations, the lack of facilities is hindering the education of millions of youths. The shortage of desk and chairs is becoming a problematic issue in developing countries. In order to solve this problem, I have designed a compact desk called Letter Desk. This desk is made from cardboard and consists of a body and two supports. The desk is very durable, affordable in terms of production, and biodegradable. It also has lightweight enough to bring by children. I believe this portable desk, which is simple to assemble and disassemble will help improve the education of people living in developing nations.
