Travel Massage Design, Travel Massager Design Project. At the beginning, the project planning was aimed at the fact that the neck of the travel personnel could not be relaxed during long-distance flight. According to the project design plan (Brookstone Airport Store in the United States), after doing a lot of market research and analysis, our team found that not only the travel personnel, but also the high-speed rail and other people who are tired from long-distance travel, therefore, the applicable consumers of the whole product will be enlarged, mainly pushing the airport high-speed rail, etc., supplemented by other daily rest consumers!
Before the launch of the project, we sampled the current mainstream related products (within the scope of daily or medical health massage) in the market, and cross-compared the functions, parameters, comfort, materials, processes and other aspects of the mainstream products., Combined with the current hardware library resources to carry out the initial planning of the product
The whole shape design pays more attention to the comfort of the human body, fits with the concave and convex curves of the human body's neck, and the central position design will be relatively convex, so that the corresponding strength support can be given on both sides of the neck (many similar products on the market will be relatively weak in this detail and cannot give the whole head and neck support well, resulting in easy lateral tilt when the head looks up, resulting in loss of pillow and neck pain over time
In terms of functional design, two mini3-wheel electric massagers are respectively arranged on both sides, and temperature control heating devices are arranged in the middle. During use, both sides of the massage wheels work together with heating heating devices to enjoy the effect of hot compress on the neck while massaging and relaxing.
The whole appearance function partition is relatively clear, and the outer side is divided into eye mask area and earplug placement area, which is convenient for people who are tired of light during long-distance flight or travel to fold and store their earplugs and eye mask, which is also a relatively intimate design detail.
In the process of long-term travel by car or flight, fatigue is very easy to occur, the neck will become sore and stiff, the muscles will not be relaxed, the neck has Fengchi point, Fengfu point, Tianzhu point, Bailao point and other acupoints distribution, long-term low temperature (aircraft air conditioning, high-speed rail room temperature) will also increase the burden of neck cold

1. There is no working parameter index of each product in the table, such as the vibration frequency and duty ratio of the strong and weak gear of the vibration function "what is the vibration frequency and duty ratio of the weak gear", and whether the vibration of the weak gear mode vibrates until the user presses pause or wave type vibration (vibration for 3 seconds, then pause for 0.5 seconds, then continue to vibrate for 3 seconds and repeat in sequence) or cross frequency vibration, etc. What mode is the corresponding mode of these programs? How does the switch switch switch mode? Is there an automatic working time set for each program? What is the actual user's feedback on the experience of this function? The same is true for airbags (airbag procedure: inflation and deflation speed? Hold time? The percentage of deflation? Program loop situation) These will affect the user's experience. Of course, the impact on the appearance is relatively small, and it is related to the product that requires several switch buttons to realize. The significance behind studying these indicators is whether these standard definitions make users who use the product feel effectively relaxed and relieved. In fact, if these programs change the parameters slightly, the experience will be completely different. Adding or reducing the working procedures of air bags will also give users a different sense of experience.
2. The user experience research report should be targeted and should not be summarized, because some users may have experienced the problems existing in competition 1 and competition 1, and perhaps competition 2 has solved them. Therefore, it is suggested to put the user experience report behind the individual competition, just as some people have experienced Apple mobile phones and Xiaomi mobile phones, the experience report is definitely different, even the same brand and different models are different.
3. Since there is a user experience report, according to the principle, can I understand that I have bought the product for research? Since this is the case, I should not be unclear about the charging time. Even some competing products have played "X" in massage mode, and then the last competing product function. I think there were two electrode plates in the past. The main function should be more like micro-current EMS or heating function, is there any incidental vibration- -? Did the table write the function wrong?
These are some of my personal views on the product research form. The appearance of the product is still well designed. Product research is better if it can go deeper.
The original intention of my product market research is this, but as an industrial designer's starting point and angle, to identify the research and screening points that are helpful to my own design. It may be that the front line is too long, and it also includes some of the research defined in the early stage of some products (actually surpassing the part of the research from industrial design to the product manager). This is the only attempt, just a little bit! Therefore, I did not elaborate on the interactive parts of products such as "a switch vibrates for a few seconds! More inclined to the shape design of this one! The rest can be seen as an auxiliary part, thank you! After seeing so many replies from you after 3 years, you have put your heart into it!
