This project customizes three groups of public art sculptures for Yichun Kangyang City. The works are arranged along the landscape vein of the park. Two groups of theme waterscape sculptures are located on the central axis of the landscape. A group of art sketches are placed in the green belt, step by step, jointly constructing the landscape art system of the Kangyang Park and injecting the natural life image and the humanistic core of Kangyang into the whole site.
The main sculpture of the central axis adopts stainless steel forging process, and the shape integrates the meniscus, the welcome pine and the swimming fish form. The curved ring body is surrounded by a crescent moon, the pine is stretched upward, and the swimming fish leaps from the bottom, symbolizing endless life and longevity. The sculpture base is combined with the waterscape platform, the mirror stainless steel reflects the sky light and cloud shadow during the day, and the built-in light lights up the overall shape at night, forming a shocking visual landmark in the night and becoming the core image symbol of Kangyang City.
The second group of waterscape sculptures on the central axis takes blooming flowers as the creation prototype. The red streamlined lines simulate the stretching posture of flower stems. With the waterscape base, the water flows around the sculpture, and the lines are soft and dynamic. Flowers symbolize vigorous life and fit the theme of health and vitality of the health care project. The sculpture stands on the stacked water landscape, and the water light and the sculpture lines set off each other. Walking through it, you can feel the vigorous vitality of natural flowers and plants and weaken the hardness of large buildings.
The hollow spherical sketches in the green belt are distributed beside the footpath as secondary landscape nodes. The inside of the ball is a hollow texture of branches, and the high pole will hold up the ball and scatter it between the lawns. The sketches are light in size, do not block the view of the landscape, move the scenery when walking, enrich the details of the green belt, and let art penetrate into every leisure space in the park.
The three groups of sculptures are unified around the core conception of health care, from the grand main landmark, the middle view waterscape to the close-up sketch, forming a complete landscape narrative. Material selection of weather-resistant stainless steel, suitable for outdoor long-term use, corrosion resistance and easy maintenance. The overall design does not pursue complicated decoration, but conveys the connotation of tranquility, vitality and longevity with natural images, which is in line with the local ecological background of Yichun and the positioning of Kangyang City. Art is no longer isolated ornaments, but into the environment, soothing people, so that residents and visitors in the space to feel the life of the stretch and peace.
