The Jingang Monument Landscape Tunnel is located in the valley by the Jialing River in Chongqing. The ancient village of Jingang Monument and the Mianren Academy on the high hillside will be developed in a unified way. The walkway between the two will be cut off by Beiquan Road. A new pedestrian tunnel will be built to connect the academy and the village up and down. The design team decided to block the old culvert pipe at the bottom of the road and merge the water diversion and the walkway, taking the tunnel as the carrier, the academy, which represents "the spirit of literati", establishes a reasonable and ingenious cultural link and experience to the village, which represents "secular life", and releases the originally negative underground space into a positive space. The mysterious entrance next to the academy is the starting point of the experience. The right circular body with a height difference of 3 meters and a diameter of 7 meters at both ends is bent from top to bottom and stretched to about 70 meters. The clever digestion of the height difference controls the slope to 3 degrees, ensuring comfortable walking, facilitating the connection with the mountain, and avoiding the boredom of looking through the opposite landscape at a glance; natural rocks and water pattern lamps placed at random in the stream inside the cave offset the darkness of the underground space with natural light and wild interest through the wave light projected by water waves on the inner wall of the silver aluminum plate. Hot-dip galvanized steel grating plates are made of high and low trails suspended on the water surface in the form of trestles, planning rich moving lines. The exit is set up from natural boulders in the mountain. Qin players play guqin on the stones, the stream flowed out of the cave under the control of rocks. The sound of piano mixed with the sound of water created eastern implication, adding mystery and expectation to the whole trip. With 4100K wall washing lamp with the same color temperature as the moonlight, the 12-meter-diameter clear-faced concrete facade of the cave entrance is dyed into a huge bright moon. Standing on the viewing platform overhanging the entrance of the cave, the valley and the village with the original vegetation are all in sight. Along the valley, looking down the river, the academy, the bright moon, the stream and the village form a complete picture of the design for the end.
