Escalators offer convenience to people by carrying them from one floor to another floor. However, they can often lead to accidents when people place their feet across two steps and lose balance as the escalator moves and the height of the two steps gradually change. 'Raised spot escalator' separates the steps on an escalator with a raised spot: it is a universal design that allows users to perceive the steps by sensation when stepping on an escalator, thus leading them to place their feet securely inside a step.
