Sightseeing train 'SETSUGEKKA' replaced the walls with huge windows for the grand view of ocean and mountains in Niigata, Japan. So as to be a new symbol of the area, it was colored vermillion glowing with natural landscape. As for the interiors, the furniture and walls were made of domestic natural lumber. Although it consists of only 2carriages and 45seats, its rail travel gives you blissful time and marvelous view of the local scenery from the largest train window in Japan you have never seen before. Since train is one of the most influential presentations by the local, it can be the first step of local design innovation in Asian future.
