This is the work of participating in the liquor packaging design competition, with the theme of "Qiong Liquor". It is also the first time to try a complete packaging design scheme. I have always been interested in trying the packaging design of alcohol, but due to time constraints, I have not been able to do so. This time, I came to try this competition during the National Day holiday. There may be many deficiencies in the design. You are welcome to criticize and correct them.
This design is actually my reflection on liquor packaging design. If you broaden your horizons to the international liquor market, you will find that most of the packaging designs of liquor categories are out of touch with the international market. This is naturally the result of adapting to the domestic market, but this is also that the international popularity of liquor is not as good as Japanese sake and even one of the reasons for Korean shochu. This situation in China has formed a bad cycle. I think this is extremely unfavorable for the international promotion of liquor. In terms of the quality and cultural connotation of liquor, I don't think it should stop here, nor should I be satisfied with this, so I would like to take this opportunity to express some personal thoughts on liquor packaging design.
In fact, I was not familiar with Qionglai at the beginning. It felt the same way as many consumers who had just come into contact with the new brand of liquor, even only to the extent that they had only heard of the word "Qionglai. As the process of searching for information gradually deepened, Qionglai gradually became clear in my mind. I want to bring my feelings to those who first came into contact with this liquor. Qionglai is not a mountain or a river, nor is it a person or a building. It is difficult to describe the temperament of Qionglai. Therefore, I abandoned the presentation of landscapes, landmarks, buildings and historical celebrities in the packaging at the beginning. Instead, I tried my best to combine my superficial impression of Qionglai into a concrete design and reflected it in this design work, I hope it can resonate with everyone.
