If you do not know enough about this aspect, the designed products may be misused with expensive materials, insufficient product strength and some other problems. In the structural design, product structure designers often meet the needs of the product under the premise, but also consider the price factor of plastic, because the cost of materials directly related to the price of the product.
4. have a certain understanding of surface technology. The understanding of surface technology determines whether the surface treatment of the product you design is easy or not, such as multi-color oil injection to make a groove, bronzing to make a high appearance, aluminum-gold fixing method, adding electroplating hooks to the product, etc., which directly affects the image of the product.
5. solid knowledge of mechanical design. The degree of understanding of mechanical knowledge determines whether the structure of the product you design is superior, whether the mechanism is feasible, and whether the user uses the product is very convenient to operate, such as the placement, size, and shape of the hand grip. The familiarity of mechanical drawing determines whether your output product engineering drawing is standard and whether there are wrong marks and marks, which will directly affect whether mold manufacturers can easily understand your output engineering drawings. These have a direct impact on the progress of product development.
6. should have a certain understanding of the production and assembly process. Knowledge of the production assembly process determines whether the product you design is easy to assemble. On the surface, it seems that whether it is easy to assemble has nothing to do with the design, but this is especially important for products with more parts, because not easy to assemble is to increase the assembly time of the product, which also increases the cost of the product.
7. master the relevant knowledge of quality and safety regulations in time. Mastering the knowledge of quality and safety regulations is mainly used to make some inspection and testing standards by oneself or to assist others in making some inspection and testing standards, such as product falling machine testing standards and product inspection standards, which require structural designers to make or assist others in making them.
