If you say go, of course, you have to travel light. This suitcase is made of magnesium alloy and has the characteristics of a small specific gravity material. It achieves an ultra-light weight of 3kg as a whole, allowing you to "make less effort" in your journey ".

Due to the material characteristics of magnesium alloy material, many problems need to be solved in production and processing (described below). After this suitcase landed, we participated in the "International CMF Design Award" and won a good ranking, giving us great affirmation.

This suitcase is inspired by the world's flower tulips. The tulip profile elements are abstracted and applied to the cabinet as the main visual element of the suitcase.

Magnesium alloy material has the advantages of specific strength and high specific stiffness, good thermal conductivity, damping and shock absorption, electromagnetic shielding, easy recovery, etc., and is widely used in the fields of automobiles, electronic communications, aerospace, national defense and military, etc. It has extremely important application value and broad application prospects, and is known as "21 Century Green Engineering Materials".

Compared with aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy is relatively difficult to process, and conventional processing methods cannot be used (why not use aluminum alloy, because magnesium alloy material performance is stronger than aluminum alloy, manual dog head). According to the different forming processes, magnesium alloy materials are mainly divided into two categories: cast magnesium alloy and wrought magnesium alloy. Compared with cast magnesium alloy, deformed magnesium alloy has higher strength, better ductility and better mechanical properties, and lower production cost.
The suitcase in this case is made of wrought magnesium alloy and formed by stamping. At the same time, due to the special texture on the surface of the box body, it is necessary to do the butt joint of the edges and corners on the structure, and the joint part needs to be sealed and shaped, so as to reduce the difficulty of mold matching and other problems. Because the ignition point of magnesium is relatively low, it is generally formed by extrusion, rolling and forging in the temperature range of 300 ℃-500 ℃, otherwise it will "ignite"! Yes, "lit up" in the physical sense "!
Seeing these difficulties, we also "ignited"! Fighting spirit "ignited"! (Of course, as you can see, all the problems have been solved in the end ~ Hee hee, but so...)
