When designing hardware tools in the early days, each project basically had one or two months. There is plenty of time to go to the factory to see the product processing technology, to use each type of product, and then buy a large number of friendly products for comparison, and communicate with workers. I also played a lot of PVC hand boards (I made white molds on my UG knitting knife engraving machine). The process was very interesting. Of course, I only want to do the project, and I have no idea to set it up. Because it is a company product, many processes are only known to the company's project related personnel, and there are not so many stories to tell. In the end, only two simple renderings are shown to strangers.
First of all, hand tools and other products, the more single the function, the more professional. Generally, one thing and multiple uses are basically non-professional. Conventional hand tools have evolved to the present hundreds of years of history, and their functions and basic shapes remain unchanged. They are all very small improvements in craftsmanship and modeling details, or the development of new processes brings about new changes in products.
Don't say any extra nonsense, just look at it ~ ~ if you don't understand, you can communicate. Friends who have tool design are also welcome to communicate, although I don't do tools now ~
I started to design hardware tools in July this year. I also have a deep understanding of what the author said. The form of conventional hand tools is relatively mature. Without technological innovation, it is difficult to make great changes at the moment.
Not bad, I learn to learn
Hello, Master Huang
Why is your design description similar to what we said when we couldn't find a reason for our appearance
It was really a very early design.
