This project customizes three sets of commemorative portrait bronze busts for Chairman Huang Hongsheng, founder of Skyworth Group, depicting three important female dignitaries in his life-grandmother Chen Jilan, mother Luo Yuying and career partner Ms. Ding Kai. The full set of sculptures were independently created, produced and landed on the spot by Zuotang Sculpture. Now it has been completely completed in the Memorial Square of Skyworth Industrial Park and has become the core landscape for displaying the spirit of corporate culture.
In the early stage of the project, we deeply connected with the needs of enterprises, collected a large number of old photos, life information and oral materials of characters, and created sculptures and clay sculptures to restore the facial expression, facial features and temperament of characters. According to the identities of the three characters in different ages, the exclusive clothing details are customized: Grandma Chen Jilan embroidered cheongsam with traditional buttons and buttons of the Republic of China, recreating the image of the elderly who have experienced hardships but are tough and optimistic; Mother Luo Yuying matched a simple Chinese jacket, highlighting the gentle and simple temperament. Partner Ms. Ding Kai chose a modern simple professional jacket to depict the elegant demeanour of a capable and calm entrepreneur.
After the completion of the first draft of clay sculpture, it has been reviewed and revised by the enterprise for many times, and has repeatedly fine-tuned the facial expression and wrinkle texture to ensure the restoration of the spiritual core of the character. After the final draft is finalized, the bronze casting process of precision lost wax method is adopted to finish polishing and retro treatment. It is matched with Indian red marble engraving base, which engraves the life deeds of the characters, giving consideration to ornamental and cultural commemorative significance.
