"Trees are overgrown, and the grass is abundant" comes from the four-character ancient "Watching the Sea" by the poet Cao Cao at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty. The name of the designer Wang Shumao is taken from the beginning and end of the poem. After listening to the teacher's advice, Wang Shumao further named the studio name "Fengmao" as "Fengmao" and transliterated it as "Femo", from which his English name Femo Wong was born.

The studio LOGO evolves the "FEMO" letter design into an arrow combination, which not only conforms to the original letter form, but also guides the image, expressing "design leads life" and reflecting the pioneering temperament of Femo Design Studio as a design firm.

The founder of Femo Design Studio, under the tutelage of Professor Yu Lizhan from the Institute of Furniture of Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts and Lu Zhirong, an internationally renowned Chinese designer, has a personal collection of thousands of original designs and is well versed in modern design aesthetics and production techniques. During his college years, his academic performance and comprehensive grade points were both the first grade in the college. He has won the National Scholarship of the Ministry of Education of China and the First Class 12, there are more than 130 professional competitions such as Germany IF Design Award, Taiwan Gold Point Award, China Design Intelligent Manufacturing Award, Display China Crystal Kirin Award Silver Award, China Red Star Award Future Star Award (two in the country), AD Andi magazine 2020 China Design New Star, etc. His works have participated in Milan Furniture Fair in Italy, Stockholm Furniture Fair in Sweden, Design Shanghai, Design Spring and other exhibitions for more than 40 times.
