Head-mounted AR glasses are the first to be widely used in industrial environments. It can be used for remote assistance/guidance, operation and maintenance inspection, remote acceptance, complex industrial assembly, training, etc. Under the same technical conditions, ease of use and convenience are the most concerned by users.
The bright wind platform brand hopes to launch a AR glasses suitable for use in the special environment of complex industrial engineering. In the process of early communication, "hands free" is the word we hear most. Conventional cell phones, tablets and PDAs are clearly problematic in terms of portability and ease of use. Therefore, the bright wind platform hopes to use such an AR device that is hung on the helmet to "return" the hands to the user, so that the smart device becomes their right-hand man rather than a burden.
Convex and concave design team in AR hardware and software product design for many years, we first of all on the industrial engineering environment background to do in-depth research and analysis, the objective operating environment situation was classified. After investigation, we concluded that the use of the product in a special working environment is faced with high temperature, the need for intensive anti-dust morning fog and other needs, and finally we will be the entire product and hardware design defined as the need to reach IP66 protection level conditions, to be able to meet such an objective working environment. "Zero UI" interaction design for industrial-grade environments.
In the stage of conceptual research and analysis of interaction, the convex-concave design establishes the two main theme principles: 1. Enabling industrial scene 2. Pleasant and convenient user experience.
The highest priority need for workers in the use of glasses is convenience. Different from graphics and closed app, convex and concave design puts forward the concept of "zero UI" to be applied in this product. Zero UI is not a non-zero design, but based on the positioning made after the investigation of the complex factory environment, to enhance the user experience in the complex environment through interactive design, in order to truly free hands for practical work.
Based on the convenience of user operation and the interactive system with voice commands as the main body, we have reduced the product keys to three physical buttons: in addition to a necessary total power key, we only provide two more operable keys for the product. The three keys are distinguished by different protruding and recessed finger touch methods, which increases the user's recognition strength in a special working environment and improves work efficiency and accuracy. On the right side of the temple to retain a "Hi button", click or long press the "Hi button", you can activate the cursor mode, at this time the user can use the head of the rotation to move freely, and use the button to click and other operations. In addition, we take full advantage of AR's ability to fix the interface in three-dimensional space, and design the "Hi mode", which integrates functions such as notification center, voice command teleprompter and multi-task switching, and further enriches the function of cursor mode. Due to the heat generated by the optics and CPU inside the machine, the metal material is selected to be suitable for the heat dissipation requirements of the machine. The design language of the overall engineering product is different from that of consumer goods. Based on the requirements of the working environment, the convex-concave design defines it as a "useful tool".
Convex-concave design proposes a customized high-definition anti-shake camera module, which integrates 1.5mm arrayed waveguide optical lenses on the premise of optical anti-shake and electronic anti-shake. Compared with similar foreign products, multiple spheres are required for full-angle adjustment. Convex-concave only uses a double universal ball and double slide rail design to realize a structurally innovative monocular reversible design, making the user's operation more efficient. The power supply support system of the cartridge type power exchange also enables users to extend the use time of the equipment more flexibly and conveniently during use.
The whole process of convex and concave design starts from the hardware selection of 0 to 1, to the adjustment of technical engineering and the interaction of AR system, which is built in the research and development of unified software and hardware product system, and outputs a complete design scheme of software and hardware integration. The mass-produced smart glasses HiAR H100 is centered on the HiAR Space brain of the AR platform and combined with the end cloud. It is composed of four major plates of "ABCD", namely the AR brain that integrates artificial intelligence, big data and intelligent communication capabilities. It deposits its technology and research and development capabilities in four aspects of space computing, AR cloud, natural interaction and AR intelligent hardware, making it support the vertical optimization of the platform. Through these core capabilities, HiAR Space connects scenes, space, data and users to create a highly valuable, virtual and real fusion of hyperreal intelligent space. And in line with the standards of industrial products, real-time integration of factories around the command and dispatch system and other services. Enhance the user experience in industrial operation scenarios in complex environments, improve product efficiency, and complete the application of AR hardware and software integration in the enabling factory industry.
