Urban commercial public space is not only a place for traffic and consumption, but also a touchable and interactive outdoor art gallery. The landing of three groups of theme sculpture devices, with microscopic nature as the core of creation, will mirror stainless steel rabbit, giant ant sculpture, with color clock pigeon logo device, scattered in the pedestrian street open square, reconstruction of the dialogue relationship between people and the block.
Mirror stainless steel is the core material of the whole set of works. The highly reflective surface is like a flowing mirror, which accommodates the sky light and shadow, building facade and pedestrians into the sculpture form. Two groups of animal sculptures enlarge the daily tiny creatures: rabbits sit on a round pebble base, and the soft and round body dispels the coldness of the stone square; Giant ant groups are scattered in the gray space facing the street, enlarging the body of insects, arousing the curiosity of viewers to lean over and observe, and making people pay attention to the neglected natural life around them again.
Color clock pigeon device as the visual main scene, a number of high and low scattered columns with color lights and clocks, the ground scattered with colorful pigeon sketches. The height of the column changes to form a rhythmic vertical skyline, bright color blocks and metal silver gray form a strong contrast. The clock implies the concept of time, the pigeon symbolizes relaxation and vitality, and echoes the natural theme of animal sculpture, implying that in the busy urban rhythm, stop and feel the beauty around you.
The three groups of sculptures are not placed in isolation, but follow the moving line of the square to make point planning. Rabbit sculpture is placed in the open central square as the core landscape of clock-in. Ant groups are placed in the nearby area along the street to shorten the viewing distance. The clock pigeon device serves as an entrance to guide the landscape and accept the flow of people. Size, height, material dynamic and static balance, taking into account the artistic appreciation, photo clock-in properties, adapt to the needs of commercial operations.
Inspired by microscopic nature, the work uses exaggerated scales, mirror materials and vivid colors to magnify tiny creatures to urban scales. When pedestrians walk by, the mirror sculpture continues to change with light and shadow, and every moment the picture is not repeated. Commercial space is no longer just a cold building. After the art installation is implanted, it will inject children's interest and poetry into the block, making shopping a wonderful journey of encountering art by chance.
