As a music lover, I have both speakers and headphones on my work desk. Usually use speakers, need privacy or do not want to disturb others and then connect headphones. However, when not in use, headphones appear messy on the table, and buying a special ear rack takes up too much valuable desktop space. I want a way to keep the desktop minimalist and tidy.
One day there was a bright light: why not hang headphones on the speaker?
The storage effect is good, and a subtle thing happened: the original static minimalist design speaker seems to suddenly have anger and personality after hanging up the earphone, which makes people smile.
If you think about it carefully, the products of minimalist design are everywhere. Although they are really good-looking and high-end, they will appear boring and stiff after too much. People are not machines. For me, life still needs some interest and human care.
Taking this as a starting point, LEAPX designed this Talking Heads speaker concept, hoping that it can incorporate humor and emotion on top of minimalism and add some smiles to users' lives.
▲ When the earphone is taken off, the sound channel will automatically switch to the earphone; After putting back the earphone, the sound channel will automatically switch back to the sound box. You don't have to rush to connect the earphone line to find the earphone mouth anymore.
▲ Headset Built-in Wireless Charging
In the form of design, we have left the traditional rigid sound design language, and through the combination of geometric elements, we can make speaker feel life, reasonable and more interesting while keeping it simple.
▲ Support the hanging of third-party headphones
The shape of Talking Heads speakers is more attractive to interact with than ordinary smart speakers. If simple activity mechanisms are added, there will be many new possibilities.
▲ The integrated speaker bracket lifts the treble unit to the height of the human ear to ensure the best listening effect
Wearing headphones, the microphone on the headphones (the best calibration position on the ear side) can receive the pronunciation of the speaker and automatically set and calibrate according to the environment.

good
The base support part, this simple and crude body, is abrupt with the whole. I don't know what the designer is trying to express.
Isn't this the previous rowing machine?
I remember Motorola has a similar model.
The starting point is good, and the form is a little bit of a collision with the portability of Divare.
It's very creative and interesting, but there are several points you can listen to. The first point is what is used between its headphones and speakers to judge whether to use headphones or speakers. The second point is how to cut songs and pause the speaker. The initial key design of a speaker is still necessary.
